Oil paintings Monkid & Mr Foxy shortlisted (500) for the National Open Art Competition 2016

From the 15th of March until the 16th of April a selection of paintings and collages from 'Humanimal' will be exhibited at the Exeter Phoenix Cafe Bar Gallery, Private view at 6:30 on the 15th of March.

In December 2015 Tim staged an Arts Council England funded exhibition 'Humanimal' at the PZ gallery, Penzance. This show explored our strange relationship with animals featured drawings, paintings and assemblage.

In May 2015 Tim won the Gloucestershire University Prize for his diptych 'Monkid & Mr Foxy' as part of The Open West 2015 exhibition at The Wilson, Cheltenham.

Tim took part in NSA293 at The Penwith Gallery, St Ives in 2015.

In 2014 Tim was 'Artist in residence' at The Swordfish as part of the Newlyn Arts Festival.

In 2013 Tim was one of the lead artists on the Wild Project in the Czech Republic, whith resulted in a series of exhibitions in London and at Primary in Nottingham in 2014.

Tim received Arts Council England funding for his Artwalks on Epsom Common in 2013.

In 2011 Tim graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design. He won the Ovalhouse Prize for his degree show performance 'Cartrouble Oh Yeah'. This resulted in the performance '007 v John Ridley' which took place in the Ovalhouse Theatre in 2011.

Tim uses painting, drawing, collage and assemblage to explore difference and binary opposition in contemporary society. A particular interest is the human/animal divide. Tim likes to cross disciplinary boundaries with his work and subject matter. He is an associate member of the Penwith Society of Artists and a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists, and lives in Penzance, Cornwall.
