Julia Manheim and I have been making a video sequence about the putting on and taking off of a wet suit. Concerning the slightly uncomfortable times that some of us go through in a swimming pool changing room or at the seaside. The difference is that this is public, and if we are lucky may end up projected 100 by 35 feet big onto the side of a building in Surrey Canada. Fingers crossed.

Sparrows V Humans

Rosa Martyn and I have been making a video film about the sparrows who live on Gleneagle Rd in SW16 I have lived on this street in South London for 25 years and it has been a pleasure to meet Len and Anne who have been feeding the sparrows for a number of years now. We will be screening it at Streatham Library in conjunction with Streatham Community garden sometime soon.

The Argument is progressing well, we are well on round 3. I haven't given my last image a title, as I feel it should be able to speak for itself. Where this is all going is unknown and that is a positive. We all make better work when we are at least a bit out of our depth. I seem to be making some tattoo based drawings as a side product of this new collaboration. All a bit odd.

Walking Boundaries

I am in negotiation with Epsom and Ewell council about a trial residency on Epsom Common this year. It will lead to a full blown project in 2013. Will keep you posted on my progress.

Jography
