These two paintings were made in response to the antique guilt frames that they are mounted in. The word guilt is pertinent, and what it implies to me, in that we owe an apology to all animals and in particular primates, for the way we have mistreated them.

I would like an audience to look them in the eye and realise their responsibilites as sentiment beings towards other beings on this planet.
