A first for Tim, exhibiting at the community rooms in the Jubilee Pool as the summer gave way to the easing of lockdown restrictions. Visitor numbers were good and feedback positive.
Tim sold his painting of a chough on found aluminum at the first Penzance arts festival PZ21. Organised by Andrew Swan and Winnie Lyn, with a host of other PZ based artists this show in Penzance art school on Morrab road was a great success.
During the second module of Tim’s MA in painting at Plymouth College of Art he has beentransferring a series of oil sketches made from a single panther reference image onto foundclothing. Tim Ridley’s assemblage Elephants in my head is featured as the poster image for NSA125 the show at Tremenheere to celebrate 125 years of the Newlyn Society of Artists. Horse power is also picked by guest curator Lisa Wright.
In September Tim Ridley got together in Durham with 7 other artists to look at what they have made over lockdown and to experience some new workshops, collaborations and drinking.

Watch this space was a small group of NSA artists show at the Jubilee Pool’s community rooms in Penzance. Although there were no sales for Tim it proved a great place to show work and the visitor numbers were high.
